Stable water temperature is one of the most important variables in a healthy aquarium. Fluctuations outside a species' preferred range affect immune function, feeding behaviour, and overall stress levels, particularly in tropical and marine setups where the acceptable range is narrow. The Aqua One ThermoSafe heater is designed to hold target temperature reliably and safely, with the build quality to last.

The heater body is constructed from high-quality quartz glass, which is significantly more shatter resistant than standard borosilicate glass and better suited to the knocks and handling that come with regular aquarium maintenance. Temperature is set via an external dial and confirmed against an easy-to-read temperature guide on the unit, with an indicator light showing when the heater is actively warming. The temperature range spans 20°C to 34°C, covering the requirements of the vast majority of tropical, coldwater, and marine species.

A microchip-controlled thermal cut-off monitors the heater during operation and shuts it down automatically if it detects dangerously high temperatures or if the heater is accidentally run out of water. This protects both the heater and the aquarium from damage in the event of a water level drop. The unit is fully submersible and installs easily with the included suction clips on a 1.8m cable. Suitable for freshwater, tropical, and marine aquariums.
