Most Bluelab EC instruments are factory calibrated and do not require ongoing recalibration. However, the conductivity probe surface still accumulates mineral deposits and residue over time that can affect reading accuracy and response. Regular cleaning maintains the probe's performance between the periodic checks against a reference solution that confirm accuracy has been maintained.

The EC Probe Care Kit contains two 20ml single-use sachets of 2.77 EC reference solution for checking probe accuracy after cleaning, a conductivity probe cleaner, a chamois for cleaning the probe surface, and a plastic cup. Everything needed to keep a conductivity probe clean and verified. Suitable for all Bluelab conductivity probes.
